- Mom & Dad have to coordinate Chris' transportation
- Dad goes to work late so he can drop Chris off at 8:30am
- Mom goes in early so she can pick Chris up by 3:00pm
- Chris' parent's work day functions around his needs
- Chris is 20 years old; his family will do this for the next 40 years

You work until 5pm, but your special needs son finishes his job at 3pm. Where does he go?
With your help we’ve plotted a course to transform the life of families like Chris'. You told us you’d like to see a program that provides a safe and educational place during the hours before & after work or school.
In 2009 A New Leaf is implementing a new program for special needs children and adult-children. Using an expanded version of our fun and interactive FOR LIFE classes parents can drop off their children by 6:30am and pick them up by 6:00pm Monday through Friday.
A New Leaf will ensure that children get to school and adult children make it to their work program. This program offers choice and independence for parents of special needs children.
We are excited about Chris' future.
