Residential Tours: First Monday of the Month

A New Leaf invites you to tour our residential housing at The Village in Owasso on the first Monday of every month from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. There is no need to sign up – just show up! The tour will begin at The Village Café.

The Village address is 8535 N. Memorial Drive, Owasso, OK 74055.

Vocational Tours: First Wednesday of the Month

A New Leaf invites you to tour our vocational center on the first Wednesday of every month from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. There is no need to sign up – just show up!

Our vocational headquarters address is 2306 South 1st Place, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012.

The Village at A New Leaf

The Village is safe and affordable housing designed to create a pathway of independence and consistency of care to maximize the personal choice of the individual. The Village will expand both our vocational training, residential services, and behavior support programs, allowing us to serve more clients.

Autism Works

Autism Works is a community-based vocational program for youth in upper-elementary, middle and high school with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their neurotypical peers. The program assists youth in making the transition to adulthood, higher education, and/or optimum employment by teaching social skills in a classroom setting and exposing them to the community and work experience at a young age.

Program participants will benefit from the program in the following ways: increased confidence and independence, improvements in communication, language, and social skills, improvement in job skills such as learning new things, being patient, task management, respect, and positive interaction with coworkers.

Hardesty Transition Academy

The Hardesty Transition Academy is a two-year comprehensive college-style program for people with developmental disabilities and autism who are seeking a healthy, happy, independent life.

Mission to mentor, model, motivate, and prepare individuals with developmental disabilities and autism for independent living, competitive workforce wages, and belonging to the community in which they work, live, and grow.

Residential Programs

A New Leaf serves residential clients in independent living and group home settings throughout the community. We provide 24-hour assistance with basic requirements as needed by each individual client.

Vocational Programs

 

A New Leaf’s vocational program is designed to provide individuals with I/DD life skills, marketable job training, horticultural therapy, and community-based vocational training

Behavior Support Program

Our Behavior Support Program provides direct care staff, job coaches, and clients with comorbidities tools and coping techniques to prevent behavior challenges before they occur.
